For your FINAL assignment you will be researching a master photographer from the list provided, explore a thematic concept from a body of their work and shoot 10 photos that captures the overarching concept and photographic approach of your artist.
FIRST: Choose your master photographer from the list Below or from website LENSCRATCH - Do a Quick Google search of some of the photographers whose work interests you as well as Google Images to look at their body of work. Look at as many as you can – you want to make sure you connect with an artist who will make you grow in a direction you’re interested in.
SECOND: Create A Slide Doc and complete the research portion of the assignment to find out as much as you can about your artist’s background, ideas, and influences.
THIRD: You will be submitting 10 photos that captures the overarching concept and photographic approach of your artist. All 10 photos will need to be included in your google slides but you will only need to describe the influences in two of the photos.

The more time you spend understanding your photographer, the easier it will be to create 10 photos based on their THEMATIC CONCEPT Consider the photographers who, what, when, where and how from their body of their work. With that in mind, your research should include at least the following:

PART THREE - BE INFLUENCED
You will be required to take a series 10 photos that are influenced by your master photographer. All ten photos will be located on one slide (two rows of 5). You will choose 2 of your original photos that you feel represent you // this photographer the best. Each of the two photos will have their own slide and you will answer the following questions underneath your photos.
- Subject matter of the photograph.
- How is your subject matter influenced by your master photographer?
- Examine the perspective from which the photographer took the picture.
- How did you intentionally use physical perspective similar to your photographer?
- How did you intentionally use the photographers ideas of personal and/or emotional perspectives to influence your work?
- How do the two perspective influence each other?
- Examine what composition techniques the photographer used to effectively photograph the subject matter.
